4 - 6 years
Meeting night: Thursday
Meeting time: 5:00 - 6:00
What have we been up to?
On the 13th February 2025... WE STARTED SQUIRRELS!
Meet our new bushy tailed member KIM! He is joining Bertie Beaver and Cubby Scout as a Mascot at the 7th for Squirrels.
He and the new Squirrels started learning lots and lots about Scouts and the Group!
We played games, made campfire crafts and had SO MUCH FUN!
We cannot wait to watch them grow!

Badges
At Squirrels, there are lots of badges to earn. You can do lots of them at home as well as on Drey nights!
Uniform
What Scouts wear
Squirrels uniform consists of a red sweatshirt with their badges sewn on and a coloured necker to represent the 7th Southampton (Bassett) Scout Group.
They can where our Group Polo Shirt underneath. For bottom half uniform, Squirrels wear navy blue activity trousers, shorts or black school trousers or shorts with black shoes.
There are lots of other optional accessories you can wear such as hats, hoodies.
Why uniform is important
Wearing a uniform is comfy and practical. It means no one feels uncomfortable or left out and helps everyone feel part of the Pack. It also gives you a place to show off all the badges you earn.

Where to buy your uniform
Uniform can either be bought from our online shop - Scout Store - or from a local supplier. If you’re not sure where to start, adult volunteers can give you more information about what to buy and where to buy it. You can order a Group Polo Shirt from your Section Leader.
